Anum Announces Christmas Card Competition Winner
I am delighted to announce the winner of my annual Christmas card competition.
The competition was open to all Primary School pupils across Airdrie and Shotts, providing an opportunity for pupils to have their artwork published and used as an official Christmas Card for their local Member of Parliament. The theme of this year’s competition was “Christmas in Scotland”, giving pupils an opportunity to express what Christmas in their community means to them.
The card design will act as my official Christmas Card for 2022, and the winning design will be printed and sent to individuals such as the First Minister and Prime Minister.
The winning card was designed by Charlie aged 10 - Charlie drew a Scottish Santa playing the bagpipes and he won a Speakers Bear along with arts and crafts (winning design below).
My Christmas cards were printed by local business Printwell Ltd in the Airdrie and Shotts constituency at no cost to the taxpayer
